news for 4/27/2011

In an interview with the owner of the Medford Guitar Center he confirmed that they will be closing by the end of the year. Over two hundred employees are either going to be out of a job or relocated to another location. It is reported that the affected employees have or will be given relocation packages. The company  says they`re not sure what they will be doing with the building once they leave.

Huff expected to take a stand.
Today was the third day of trial for a Medford man named Clayton Huff who was accused of shooting at a car salesman during a test drive. Court officials say that Clayton Huff was accused of shooting at salesman Robert Johnson. The prosecution brought forth more that 10 people to testify. His lawyer said that his client was merely using self defense against Johnson. He claims that he was attacked when he wouldn't buy a car.

news for 4/12/2011

Four people were saved after their boat flipped upside down in the Rogue River Saturday morning. Two of the people were tossed from the boat awaiting rescue on a couple of rocks while the other two people, the driver and the passenger, were carried farther down the river but were later rescued. The driver suffered minor injuries but the other three passengers had no injuries.
