After a new survey from the U-S Department of Agriculture it showed that several areas they`re calling food deserts in the Rogue Valley. The U-S-D-A defines food deserts as areas where people have only a limited or no access to higher quality food at a good price. Many of these food deserts don't have large grocery stores so they have to get most of their food from small convenience stores. Many government agencies are working together to end these food deserts.
